At Coral Cartel, we take pride in delivering healthy, vibrant, aquacultured corals directly to your reef. Each order is packed with care, insulated, and temperature-controlled to ensure the best possible arrival conditions.

Shipping Rates

We offer simple, transparent shipping:

  • Flat Rate Domestic Overnight Shipping: $39.99

  • FREE Overnight Shipping on Orders $299+

Free shipping is automatically applied at checkout once your cart reaches the qualifying amount.

Shipping Schedule

To reduce carrier delays, we ship Monday–Wednesday.
Orders placed after Wednesday at 12 PM CST will ship the following Monday unless otherwise requested and weather permits.

Shipping Method

All corals ship via:

  • UPS Next Day Air (primary carrier)

  • FedEx Priority Overnight (case-by-case availability)

Every package includes seasonal heat or cold packs as needed.

Live Arrival Guarantee

We proudly offer a Live Arrival Guarantee on all corals.

To qualify for DOA coverage:

  1. Someone must be present to accept the package on the first delivery attempt.

  2. DOA claims must be submitted within 2 hours of the delivery timestamp.

  3. Provide:

    • A clear photo of the coral in the unopened bag

    • A clear photo of the coral out of the bag

    • Your order number

  4. Corals must not have been harmed due to:

    • Customer rescheduled delivery

    • Being left outdoors

    • Improper acclimation

    • Extreme weather shipping against our advice

If these conditions are met, you will receive store credit equal to the coral’s purchase price (shipping is non-refundable).

What Our Guarantee Does Not Cover

  • Delays caused by UPS or FedEx

  • Weather-related issues outside our control

  • Damage after the coral enters your system

  • Poor acclimation practices

  • Death caused by pests already present in your tank

  • Corals stressed due to sudden changes in lighting or water chemistry

Acclimation Recommendations

For best results:

  • Float bags for 15–20 minutes

  • Drip acclimate for 15–20 minutes

  • Keep light intensity reduced by 30–50% for the first 24 hours

  • Avoid exposing corals to air longer than necessary

Proper acclimation supports long-term coral health.

Refunds & Store Credit

Approved DOA claims receive:

  • Store credit equal to the coral value

  • Issued within 24–48 hours

  • Store credit does not expire

Shipping fees are not refundable.
